MY BIO
My name is Yuval Steinfeld. I’m 27, currently living in Tel-Aviv.
As a young girl, I grew up on a Kibbutz called Kadarim.
Kibbutz is a collective community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture.
The Kibbutz runs by an ideology and a set of values that everyone are obligated to maintain.
Living in such an environment and by nature’s side my entire life, influenced the person I grew up to be.
I have always been attracted to art and started dealing with it at a young age. Fashion followed, as I always felt that fashion was the form of art I wanted to express my ideas through.

Fashion and Design have been an inseparable part of my life for the last three years.

I always try to put forth a message of some sort in my designs. Starting from my inspirations and the topics I chose to discuss.

My ideology as a fashion designer is a combination of inspiration, design and values.

It is based on the environmental issues that we are facing as a society now days. The most important thing for me in a design process is to think of the outcomes of my designs and to change my acts accordingly.

After learning that the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world, I took on the mission of bettering my own designs in order to become a part of the battle to a more safe and careful industry.
